Canvas Life-Groups

At Canvas, we believe life happens best in the context of relationship - our relationship with Jesus and our relationships with one another. Canvas Life-Groups are some of the best places for meaningful relationships to develop and for sustained spiritual life-change to occur. Canvas Life-Group Gatherings are about doing life together and walking in the direction of Jesus. Canvas has three different types of Life-Groups that help us experience a life-giving relationship with Jesus and with one another in our faith family.

Canvas Community Groups

Canvas Community Groups are designed for 4-6 couples or 6-12 people to gather once a month to eat together, to laugh together, to celebrate together, to play together, to pray together, and to care for one another. Ideally, community groups meet on the same night of the week each month, at the same time. For example, the first Friday of every month at 6:30 p.m. or the first Sunday night of every month at 6:30 p.m., etc. The community group facilitator can guide the conversation on what time, day of the week, and location works best for their group.

Canvas DP Groups

Canvas Discipleship Prayer groups are designed for three to six men or three to six women to gather weekly to celebrate how God is working, to study God’s Word, to discuss the issues and challenges of life, and to spend time praying together. These groups can meet in homes, coffee shops, parks, wherever and whenever it works best for the group.

Canvas Discipleship Prayer groups help us experience spiritual growth and develop meaningful friendships. Community Groups provide for fellowship and encouragement but DP-Groups go a step further in cultivating intimate friendships, accountability, and spiritual growth. Canvas Equipping Groups

There are many amazing equipping resources that have been designed to help us learn about the Christian faith, to help us grow in our faith relationship with Jesus, to strengthen our marriages, to develop our parenting skills, to provide us with tools in managing our finances, to bring health to our emotional struggles, to teach us to pray, to help us as we study books of the Bible, and so much more! These equipping groups often meet weekly during the fall or spring in a home or coffee shop, with a seasoned leader, often over a period of six to twelve weeks.
