Canvas Students

At Canvas, our desire for students (grade 6-12) to encounter Jesus, build Biblical Community, and share that experience with others, while having a whole lot of fun! To achieve this goal, we engage in several different environments through the week.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY GROUP

Students in grade 6-12 join us on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a time of encourage, Bible study, prayer and fun! The group will be led by our youth pastor Stephen Blackaby and a great team of volunteer youth leaders. This will take place at Pastor Ashley's home at 527 Deerfield Place. If you have questions please email Stephen@canvaschurch.ca

SUNDAY MORNINGS

At Canvas Church, we believe that all of our stories—all of our lives—are being divinely painted on a canvas that is bigger than we can see. So, each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., we invite the Students to join us for worship and fellowship. Grade 10-12 will have the privilege to hear from Pastor Ashley as he shares the word of God to the congregation. Grade 6-9 will begin with the church in worship and prayer and break off into smaller groups to study Gods Word.

FRIDAY NIGHTS: FELLOWSHIP AND FUN

Our monthly Friday night fellowships were created to give students an opportunity to gather and have fun together. We believe that amid all the pressures of teenage life, our students sometimes need to take a break and have good healthy fellowship! Please be on the lookout (by email, social media, or by word of mouth) for when we will next meet for a fun night. For more information for you to join us email Stephen@canvaschurch.ca

"YOUTH DISCIPLE NOW WEEKEND: THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING", June 14-16:

SAVE THE DATE for this weekend full of excitement and fun. DNOW weekend is for the students from grade 6-12 that will be like a retreat in our own town. It is filled with music, speakers, games, prizes, food, relationships, and much more. Students will be broken into age/gender groups and stay together in a host home after the sessions where there will be a solid gender appropriate leader and helper. They will have small group bible studies, snacks, games, and just hanging together as friends. This weekend will be a Jesus centered weekend where they will gather for great worship nights and a powerful message. We are so excited and believe that God is going to move. So excited that we have helpers from the south who are willing to give of their time to come help and make this an experience the students will not forget.
