Canvas Students

At Canvas, our desire for students (grade 6-12) to encounter Jesus, build Biblical Community, and share that experience with others, while having a whole lot of fun! To achieve this goal, we engage in several different environments through the week.

Students in grade 6-12 join us on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a time of encourage, Bible study, prayer and fun! The group will be led by our youth pastor Stephen Blackaby and a great team of volunteer youth leaders. This will take place at the West’s home at 1323 Chan Place. At Canvas Church, we believe that all of our stories—all of our lives—are being divinely painted on a canvas that is bigger than we can see. So, each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m., we invite the Students to join us for worship and fellowship. Grade 10-12 will have the privilege to hear from Pastor Ashley as he shares the word of God to the congregation. Grade 6-9 will begin with the church in worship and prayer and break off into smaller groups to study Gods Word.

Students (grade 6-7, 8-9) are walking through a series titled: Restored. This is a series that focuses on knowing God more and the reason for why we were created. They will look at building a stronger faith in Jesus, while facing everyday life problems.

Our monthly Friday night fellowships were created to give students an opportunity to gather and have fun together. We believe that amid all the pressures of teenage life, our students sometimes need to take a break and have good healthy fellowship! Please be on the lookout (by email, social media, or by word of mouth) for when we will next meet for a fun night. For more information for you to join us email
