Worship Gatherings

At our worship gatherings, you can expect to meet great people, experience vibrant worship, and encounter God through His Word.

Join us each Sunday for the Canvas Livestream at 10:00 a.m.
Canvas will be hosting one live in person gathering on Sundays outside at Luxton at 10:00 a.m. (Weather Permitting) These gatherings are limited to 50 people each. Here is what you need to know if you want to join us live...

Please RSVP by responding to the reservation link https://canvaschurch.us5.list-manage.com/track/click?u=5a42b49b1933e07dff57faa65&id=71fc493c32&e=9db048fc02

Please make reservations for all family members attending with you. Please make sure multiple family members don’t make the same reservation. You cannot attend a live gathering without responding to the reservation. If all the spaces are full you can email tara@canvaschurch.ca to be added to a wait-list. If spaces come available, we will let you know as soon as possible. If you are sick, are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been around someone else who has COVID-19, please stay home and watch the Livestream. If you had already made a reservation and become sick, please stay home and email tara@canvaschurch.ca and aprilaustin@canvaschurch.ca so that we can open your space for another family to attend in your place. Per the BC Health Guidelines, if you are over 70 years of age or have underlying medical conditions please be cautious about attending the Canvas gathering this Sunday.

For more information on the BC Health Guidelines on Outdoor religious gatherings and worship services, please visit:
Families are encouraged to sit together but non-family units will need to sit six-feet apart and maintain social distancing. Please bring a lawn chair, sunglasses, a sun hat or umbrella, a heart of anticipation, a Bible, journal, a pen, and a mask. BC Health Guidelines are requiring us to wear masks even for outside gatherings until we are seated and then we can take off our masks. (Unless you have a doctor’s excuse, then please wear a face shield). If you don’t have a mask, Canvas will have masks and hand sanitizer available. BC Health Guidelines are also not allowing singing by the congregation. We know that worship is more than song. During the times of worship - lift your hands, hum, reflect on God’s Goodness, thank Him for how He is working in your life, enjoy the songs of worship being sung over you, be still, pray, etc. The BC Health Guidelines does not allow fellowship before or after the gathering either (After the gathering, consider finding another park to enjoy fellowship time outside with up to ten people that are in your bubble). We understand the rules can be very challenging to many, but it’s more important for many of us to meet in person, so we will follow the rules, provide a safe environment for everyone, and anticipate God will meet us in our gathering this Sunday!

Please be sure to come early (Gates open at 9:30 a.m.) because the gatherings will start on time, will only last one hour and we will be recording the first live gathering (10:00 a.m.) for the world to join in with us. As part of our Canvas Worship Gatherings, Canvas will continue to provide a Livestream option at Canvaschurch.ca at 10:00 a.m. Canvas will host a Little Canvas/Canvas Kids experience during the sermon of the 10:00 a.m. gatherings.
